USED Futures Thermotech Fin Box Filler Kit

Box Fillers are designed to be placed into empty fin boxes when not in use. This most commonly occurs when riding a 5-Fin setup as either a thruster or quad, since all 5 boxes are not utilized at the same time.  Now we will tell you we also use them when doing repairs to stabilize a fin box or other repair work to prevent resin getting into a fin box. Yes, we do use "Futures tape" (3/8" masking tape), but once, just once, an accident happened.  It is absolutely miserable getting extra resin out of a fin box because Futures does such a fabulous job of ensuring tight fitting fins into their fin boxes.

Qty (2) Quad Shims per package

1/4" Quad Shims are the BOMB!  They allow Futures Quad Rears (1/2" Base) to fit into a front side (3/4" rail) fin boxes.  This allows for more experimentation to allow you to use a Quad Rear set to be used as side bites in a Fun Board or a Longboard, or if you have a super grom who needs tiny fins. Something to try! These are new, but we put them on the used side of the website, because its easier to find them all in one place.
